Overall an amazing stay. Fantastic location with a private beach in the middle of nature (very quiet). Very competent and friendly staff, good breakfast/lunch. Very clean.

Such a perfect location for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. The hotel is about 2k outside Porto San Paulo which offers amazing boat tours of the coast. The beach is just breath taking.The staff go above and beyond to make sure every detail is first class. They are always very welcoming and helpful and the service is efficient and friendly. The food and wine are delicious. The rooms have everything you need to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I didn’t want to leave Hotel and Diego it is by far my favourite hotel I’ve ever stayed in and will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff from remaking our holiday one to remember.
When we entered the hotel, we got so excited. Stunning views from our room and the restaurant, beautiful pool, gorgeous beach and excellent staff at the restaurants where we had good food (they get a 5!) So kudos to them! However, at the reception not everyone was as service minded (it took eg more than a day to get light fixed in the bathroom) and we got into a very nasty argument with the manager. To be fair, in the end there was yelling from our side as well and the hotel picked up the bill for our lunch and diner (which says enough I guess) but it definitely colored our stay, which was such a shame, because it is a gorgeous place. The aircons in the room are very dated, one of the sunbeds in the suite was run down etc. I’m sure the hotel can do better; you have to when you pretend to be a top hotel with top prices.
Very nice hotel, the rooms are clean and nice the landscape is wonderful, the situation is very calm and quiet, the vegetation is luxuriant. The personnel is friendly and helpful. The food is nice with fresh fish everyday. The downside is that the site is not practical if you have a stroller as there is a lot of stairs. Also the restaurant is open at 7.30 pm so with very young children it is not convenient is they sleep early (1.30hour for the dinner every time even though we came at 7.30 sharp and ordered right away). But other than that, the pool is great, the private beach is convenient and everything is pretty close in the hotel. If you want to go further the hotel, it would be better to rent a car because there are not a lot of taxi that are reactive (need to book it several hours in advance)
We celebrated our honeymoon here and got upgraded to a beautiful suite overlooking the bay. Probably the most stunning view we’ve seen so far in Sardinia.
What a find! Absolutely idyllic location with sea, private beach and views that are just incredible.
The individual rooms/apartments are well appointed with a great shower and very good wi fi. We stayed in a junior suite with astonishing views of Tavolara Island.
The food (we had half board) was virtually Michelin starred with plenty of variety. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented.
All the staff, from front desk to bar, pool and restaurant were professional and couldn't do enough for us.
Although a car is a must if you want to visit other locations, we used the courtesy bus to visit the local Porto San Paulo.
We would highly recommend the hotel if you want to totally relax and unwind.
Very nice and courteous staff. The restaurant is high standard. The breakfast buffet is great. They help you with every little problem. There is a shuttle service by the hotel or they organize you a car-rental-service in the hotel. The hotel-beach is beautiful. You.can use a.lot of things for free. Like kayaks, paddling-boards, the pool, fitness-center and more.
Enjoyed the location and the rustic rooms but need a bit of updating to be a 5 star hotel
